Wow Arthur, you've kept your 1972 video in a good nick! The Bali cremation is such a ceremony compared to Poo Chin's father cremation about a month ago. We went at 11 am in 2 coaches to the Mandai crematorium - all air con and sparkingly sanitised, automated to push the coffin in and into the fire. Two hours later after lunch we returned to collect the ashes and took 3 tongkangs at Changi Point, went midway to Pulau Ubin and after the monk's blessing's dumped the ashes into the sea! Everythings over by 5pm!
Nobody took any videos of the thingy, only fotos of the funeral which none of us have seen yet!
