So this year we finally got some government handouts.
Cheryl received her $900 stimulus payment (I didn't, because I didn't pay any tax last year) and we also got the $8,000 rebate for the installation of photo-voltaic solar panels.
We ended up paying nearly $3,000 and these six panels should supply 25-30% of our usage. It is also expandable to another 6 panels, should we wish to do so at any future time.
I set my little Canon Ixus 70 on timelapse, put it on a tripod and left it to capture the work.
I appear briefly near the bottom of the screen at times. Watch out for the back of my bald head!
There's about 3 hours worth of installation work compressed into this little movie.
