At Long Last, Vancouver

19 days on a ship is a very, very, very long time - after the first 7, it's like living in a gilded cage.
Though there's lots of entertainment, you are still "cabin'd cribb'd and confined!"
Cabin fever got to me nearly as bad as Jack Nicholson's in "The Shining"!
But the reward was a great day with KYY and his gracious wife C.
He met us early and took us on a comprenhsive tour of his new home city.

At Stanley Park

Then, breakfast at the Kwan residence,

before setting off to see the beauty of Vancouver (and it is truly beautiful), and also a view of the less fortunate citizens, the homeless, the down and outs.
Afer lots of poking around, we had lunch.

More touring, then home for afternoon tea with the lovely as ever C.

Then we visited the seafood market at Richmond,

Finally dinner at Hachi Hana to round off a wonderful day! Great dim sum for lunch and great sushi and sashimi for dinner.

I thoroughly recommend and endorse Col KYY's Vancouver tour.
Thanks for a great day KYY, it was truly the highlight of this long trip.
