Cycleway Art

There are quite a few pieces of artwork along this cycleway which run beside the Roe Highway in Perth.

Most, if not all, are hidden from view of motorists.

My bicycle.

Don't forget to look up.

This depicts the endangered Carnaby's cockatoos.

This sculpture showcasing our long-necked turtles have been overtaken by weeds.

Goannas climbing a tree.

More goannas - this time on a noise abatement wall.

30 years, there were much more paddocks like this around where I live, often with sheep and horses in them. Today, most of these have been transformed into more suburbs.

Though there is a lot of shrubbery, the highway is always just a few metres away.
